Clooney drawn on for Hollywood Award
The Hollywood Film Festival has drawn on George Clooney to get its Hollywood Actor Award for his performance in Alexander Payne's "The Descendants." Clooney is going to be recognized in the festival's Hollywood Film Honours Gala Ceremony, scheduled for Beverly Hilton Hotel on March. 24 following the festival. In "The Descendants," Clooney shows an indifferent husband and father of two women, who's instructed to re-examine his past and embrace his future when his wife suffers a boating accident from Waikiki.
